The MonasteryFarmFestival is a week of encounters and inspiration to experience the monastic rhythm with prayer, silence and practical work. There is a lot of time and room for enrichment and exchange throughout workshops and reading about themes like sustainability, social justice, peacework, community life and spirituality. And in the evening we’ll have nice food, music and bonfires!
Like monks in the monastery we take time 3 times a day to look for peace and meeting with God.
Looking for answers to challenges that come with our culture. Thinking together, searching and inspiring each other. Looking for inspiration in Jesus’ words.
Doing practical (farm)work, working for our own food, being with our hands in the soil..

People who are looking for a combination of sustainability, faith and justice. Idealists, silence lovers, anyone who wants to have nice encounters with enthusiastic people. In recent years, the age was between 20 and 40, with a few outliers above 70 and a number of children. Feel free to take children with you! Great if they can participate. In recent years, activities spontaneously arose among parents. (there is no separate children's program arranged).
The main language will be Dutch, but translation to English can be provided

In case you have difficulties with the price because of your financial situation, use the voucher code KORTING10 or KORTING20 for a discount of 10% or 20% on the total amount. If you have the means to pay more than the standard ticket, you are helping your fellow festival friends ;) with a lower budget to be able to come.
